Foundry Services

The foundry is equipped with three state of the art induction furnaces along with conventional oil-fired furnaces. It is supported by a pattern shop with a team of highly skilled pattern-makers, experienced in producing intricate patterns. The molding shop has a 250 kg batch capacity Muller for carbon dioxide, sodium silicate and alkyd no-bake molds and a 400 kg batch capacity for molasses sand molding for non-ferrous sand castings. We can cast ferrous and non-ferrous materials in any shape and size in accordance with international standards and specifications.
The quality control department is equipped with an optical emission spectrometer for composition analysis, a metallurgical microscope, Brinnell Hardness tester and a Poldy and Krautkramer digital hardness tester.

Heat Treatment
We are well equipped to carry out both physical and chemical heat treatment. We carry out solution annealing for various stainless steel grades to improve mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
We perform stabilizing for certain grades of steel. We carry out hardening and tempering of low carbon steel to tool steel, including facilities for water, oil or air quenching, depending on the requirements of the steel.
Our nitriding facility is one of the best in the Middle East region. This process enhances the mechanical properties of steel and develops strong resistance to corrosion. Since this is a comparatively low temperature process, it ensures minimum distortion of the products during processing.
We can also carry out carburizing and case hardening of a variety of steels from plain low carbon steel to alloy steel which ensures a hard case and tough core suitable for parts like gears and shafts that are subjected to torsional loads.
